I am Catherine Ndereba, one of the greatest marathoners in history. A two-time world champion and Olympic silver medalist, I was the first woman to break the 2:19 marathon barrier and held the world record in 2001. Known globally as ‘Catherine the Great,’ my journey in the marathon world has been defined by consistency, humility, and a deep love for the sport.
