Biography

I’m Peter Njenga, known in the boxing world as 'Nyati' (WildOx). My passion for boxing began when I was 16, and it’s been a transformative journey ever since. Training at Eastleigh and Pumwani Social Halls, and rooted in Mathare, I’ve earned numerous titles and recognition in the sport. Beyond the ring, I’ve dedicated myself to giving back by establishing boxing clubs in Mathare and Embakasi, where I’ve helped inspire and mentor countless youth. Many of these young athletes have gone on to achieve professional careers, showing me the true power of sports as a tool for social change. I’m also honored to work alongside Henry Wanyoike as his guide, continuing to foster strength and resilience in others.
