The Boston Marathon 2023 has come and gone, and what a spectacular event it was! As runners from all over the world gathered to participate in this iconic event, the top performers continued to impress and inspire us with their incredible feats of strength and endurance.

Hellen Obiri and Evans Chebet, from Kenya, took the top position. Not only that, East African runners (Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia)  dominated the podium. It's no secret that East African runners are some of the best in the world when it comes to long-distance running and have dominated major marathons and road races for decades. Their success is a testament to their hard work, determination, and natural talent.

One of the things that we love most about running at Enda is how it brings people together from all over the world. The Boston Marathon is a prime example of this, as runners from dozens of countries came together to celebrate their shared passion for running.

But there's something especially inspiring about the East African runners who dominated this event. Their talent, dedication, and commitment to the sport are truly remarkable, and they serve as a reminder of what we can all achieve with hard work and perseverance.

It is this dedication and commitment that inspired us to start Enda. The first running performance footwear in Africa, Enda works with elite long-distance and middle-distance runners to design our shoes. We hope our shoes will help to inspire more people to take up an active lifestyle and to appreciate the incredible talent and dedication of the East African athletes, who inspire our company.
